One final note: as many of you may have heard, we will not be flying through Tokyo on Sunday, but will instead be leaving Wednesday on a direct flight from Shanghai to Detroit. We have some great things planned on the extra days, and the students have been nothing but exceptional in the way they've handled the changes. We are all really excited and they are looking forward to exploring Shanghai much more!! Everyone is having a great time and we look forward to an extended stay in this great city!

Friday
Today, we have our busiest day of the trip. We will be heading to Bizark, which is an e-commerce company. The CEO is a Kelley MBA graduate. Later in the afternoon, we will be visiting Whirlpool, before heading off to the Hilton for a reception put on by Kelley alums. The list of attendees is extensive, and should be a great networking opportunity for the students.

Sanho Logistics in Shanghai
Yesterday, we had an amazing visit to Sanho Logistics, a burgeoning company dedicated to providing efficient service to a variety of clients. The manager, who we were able to speak with, used to work at both FedEx and UPS, and so provided the students with a very interesting take on the differences among the three companies, as well as his plans to capture a particular niche in the supply chain market. They treated us wonderfully, and even took us out to a unique and quite interesting chinese restaurant, which included a sampling of entrees including frog, fish eyes, intestines, and other local "delights." Overall, it was a wonderful experience for the students.
